What is HPCRC?
HPCRC is a non-profit organization based in Hanover Park, IL that started in 2007 as a subsidiary of DuCAP. Believing, as parents in our community, we could make a difference our journey had begun.
During the school year, we provide an after school program that entails tutoring and mentoring, for at risk youths. We also offer educational and fun field trips and we make time for homework, arts & crafts as well as the teaching of life skills.
We also offer an 8-week summer program Monday thru Friday for children ages 7-13. HPCRC exposes the children to a variety of field trips, guest speakers, and activities to keep them motivated and interested.
Our resource center provides ESL classes on Saturday mornings as well as an open computer lab, and library. All year long we provide open recreation for children at the center.
We’ve branched out to provide community events (i.e., Teen party, free 3-on-3 B-Ball tournament, picnics, holiday parties, etc.) in an effort to strengthen the community as a whole.
